ISU has apparently offered ISU legacy and current NIU commit LaMarcus Hicks II.

LaMarcus Sr. was a Big 12 All Conference corner at ISU. I believe he is still a DBs coach at Northwestern.

Interesting tidbit: LaMarcus II has 5 siblings including two sets of twins. With both sets of twins boys ISU could create a Hicks pipeline and have defensive backfields down the road flush with Hicks. :p

Minor point, he was a corner, not a safety. Played opposite of Deandre Jackson.

which one of those guys got hurt on special teams his senior year? Was it Jackson or Hicks. They were both great players so either way it was a big loss.

Now that you mention it, I think you are right. I just remembered that he played DB and every bio in his coaching career says that he played safety despite him getting a cup of coffee in the NFL playing CB for the Lions.

We need our version of the Locketts. LaMarcus Sr. absolutely terrorized KSU

How cool would it be if LaMarcus Hicks II would decide to come to ISU and if Malachi Curvey would transfer to ISU? We could see Hicks and Curvey on an ISU defense together like we did in 2005.
