Is Texas out of Big12 title Contention?

I believe Texas is pretty good, but I feel as a contender for the Big12 title, they are out after losing at Baylor. Thoughts??

There are only 2 real contenders right now, and they play Monday night.

Kansas must be destroyed.

Yes, I think they are pretty much out of it.

One of the best things about the first 7 conference games that we've played is that everyone but Kansas and West Virginia are 2 games behind us.

Our problem is that we have played a lot of home games. We're going to have to start to play better on the road ... and of course beat KU.

I've said all along it is between ISU, KU and WVU. Texas has long since been out of the running.

Yeah, probably a rather futile post but they got SOOOOO much hype as the favorite this year I just thought maybe I was missing something. I know they have lost a lot lately, however it seems they are at home an awful lot the second half of the schedule.

Just was curious.

I do think Texas was the first of the early season favs to be knocked out today. OK State and Baylor probably hanging by a thread. KSU had a pretty favorable schedule to start, think they may be out now too.

WVU only has 2 losses but they still have to play @ENTIRE TOP HALF of conference.

We are easily in the second best position even with crapping ourselves vs. Tech.

Nothing is "over" until it's impossible.

But it's already improbable. Unless 12-6 wins the conference this year, UT is out of title contention.

Texas could win out at home, but still has to play @KU, @OU and @WVU.
