Not a huge fan of a 5'10 linebacker. Just me.
Mike disagrees...

CF needs to have a "How to properly start a thread" class before the Post New Thread button is available.

To be clear, everyone is talking about this guy.

https://rivals.yahoo.com/iowastate/football/recruiting/player-Tymar-Sutton-171828

I was questioning in another thread if this guy had committed already because some of the new staff were tweeting about getting one half of the "bruise brothers". The other half being Chase Pine from Virginia.

Sutton and Pine have been calling themselves the bruise brothers on the twitter machine.

Wouldn't help.

But I need pictures of pogs and strickly slammers.

Because this thread apparently creates cravings for some fans.

Sutton is a great prospect. He is a very likely commit. He is just taking his time. Sutton had a great visit and visited at the same time as Chase Pine, another great LB prospect, who is a soft verbal to Pitt. Sutton and Pine hit it off on their visit to ISU and the prospect of playing together and being the "Bruise Brothers" is very appealing. Pine has a visit to Pitt in mid-January. And will likely make a decision after that.

Sutton is almost certain to commit. Pine is a maybe. But we have a very good shot. Getting both of them would be absolutely huge. Very good LB prospects.

It makes me wonder if Sutton has already committed, but just doesn't want to announce it for whatever reason.

I guess I don't know if it's normal for football recruits to "apply" for acceptance to schools they are considering before they actually commit and/or sign the LOI.

If it were me I'd only do that when I make the final decision, maybe even after the LOI is signed, but maybe there is more to the process than that.

I had been impressed by the intelligent thoughtful posting observed over the last three weeks. THEN THIS THREAD!!! The last few posters have helped clear things up some, but last night I almost called Campbell and told him to resign.:twitcy:

Huh? This place has been a mess for the last couple years. If you were impressed by this, Toledo must not have much in the way of message board quality.

In less than 24 hours, I was able to discuss football, posting 52 times. Toledo has a great board, but this has been exciting. Or, maybe I'm just bored. Either one works for me.

I'd really like to see us land more midwest/Ohio area linebackers. Sutton and Pine would be perfect.

Why is it exciting for you?

Wouldn't you want to know if you can actually make it into the school before you rule yourself out from others?
