I'm gonna say back and forth game where we pull away late. Rebounding strength keeps them in, but at some point, we give them nothing to rebound. Thomas and Naz light it up against poor perimeter defense.

Hawks likely win by 5-10 pts unless we shoot lights out ala the Arky game.

This is Iowa's Super Bowl so you know they are going to be jacked up for this game. With that being said I would have thought they would be jacked up to play a highly ranked UNC team on the road... and we all know how they executed offensively in that game.

Iowa State puts together another Arkansas type effort...

I wish Iowa still had McCabe. If Monte schools Gesell, ISU wins. But it is Iowa's Super Bowl in Carver and they can't afford to lose to ISU. Should be a fun game.

There are 3 keys to ISU winning:

1- 18 assists or more
2- shooting at least 48% for the game
3- Niang not getting in foul trouble.

its all about ISU. I fully expect Jok, Gessel and Oglsby to come out of their horrific shooting slump given its their super bowl.

For me this game is all about ISU. If they play to expectations the 3 keys above comfortable win no matter what Iowa does. If the Cyclones come out and struggle with the enviroment or being too hyped in IC then it'll be a close contest, though I still think Iowa State and Georges close out the win in the end.

Incredibly tough game to predict. Personally, I don't think ISU has played this good of a defense yet. No, I'm not saying Iowa is some incredible defensive team, but I do think they are better defensively than Maryland was.

ISU is going to have to win this one from the 3 pt line. If they shoot well they'll win it. If Iowa can defend the long ball well and at least make their shots contested then I think the Hawks can win.

I have no clue what will happen, but if I had to guess I'd say ISU wins a tough battle 77-73.
