Iowa State vs. MN - Game Thread

One of the better coaching jobs I think I've witnessed. Didn't he equal the last three years of victories this year?

Let's face it, we aren't a real talented team here, and he just won 7 games, one being a bowl. This guy and his staff are impressive.

I seriously wouldn't mind sending him a thank you card! Man, did we win that trade!!!!

Dear Geno,

Thank you for eliminating a huge hole in our program and resigning as our head coach. We would have been sitting at home with another 3 win season had you decided to stay. We now have a coach who actually knows how to coach, and what it means to be head coach at Iowa State.

Great game by the guys. Ups and downs as in any game but it was nice to see us prevail in a close game and pull one out in the last minute. Much to the chagrin of the posters I might add.

There is always room on the bandwagon. Someday I hope we can have D1 hockey at ISU so you can forget about the Gophers completely.
