AMES, Iowa—Television coverage (in Eastern Iowa) of the Iowa State men’s basketball game against No. 1-ranked Texas Wednesday night will be provided live on Mediacom local connections channel 22 and delayed (at 10 p.m.) on KFXA, the FOX affiliate in Cedar Rapids.

KFXA, which covers the Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Dubuque and Iowa City markets, has chosen to broadcast American Idol live at 7 p.m. and show the basketball game tape-delayed Wednesday night.

Cyclone fans also have the option to watch the game live on ESPN360 (check your internet provider to see if it carries ESPN360) or on ESPN Full Court. The game is also available on Cyclone Radio Network affiliates throughout the state. The radio broadcast audio is available on cyclones.com with an audio subscription.

The following Iowa television outlets will carry the game live: WOI (Ames/Des Moines), WBQD (Davenport) and KPTH-D2 (Sioux City).

?????

you would rather people in eastern Iowa didn't get the chance to watch it live?

I would rather I had the chance to watch it live.

Unfortunately I have ImOn cable, so no channel 22, no ESPN360, no ESPN FC.

KFXA should just show it live like the rest of the CTN stations.

I'll tune in on 22, but espn360 is probably a better quality broadcast. ;)

Dont they have a contract with ISU to have the games on live. Why not put it on a .2 channel.
