You're right except for the fact that I don't eat the crunchy shell of the crab/lobster and I have never stepped on a crab/lobster and seen green/orange/brown/yellow guts splatter all over the place.

I never doubted that. Read it again. I've never stepped on one and saw that crap ooze out. Out of site out of mind. When I eat crab/lobster, it's already cooked and cleaned of it's guts (and yes, I know that the tomalley is actually a delicacy and quite delicious but that's not the point). I don't equate eating a huge plate of crab legs or a lobster tail as the same thing as eating insects. If you want insects, go to town on them buddy.
Beats starving. Doesn't beat Burgers.
