He looks infinitely more comfortable now. Only licked his lips once when he mentioned the people that were cheering against him when he was at ISU. Good for Greg, and I hope he has some success at Creighton. Showed a lot of class today.

b. In games with a 10th-of-a-second game clock display and where an official courtside monitor is used, the reading of zeros on the game clock is to be used to determine whether a try for goal occurred
before or after the expiration of time in any period.
Tell him to get used to it now that McD has come to townPerrault sounded so whiny making that comment about the shot clearing being late to McDermott. Someone get him a tissue.
Official courtside monitor was not used. This rule does not apply.
For all the vitriol that the fans are throwing around for McDermott, the players in the video (particularly Diante) look like still have respect for him. That's good enough for me to put any hard feelings to bed.
Like it or not, he's got a point. Will he take it to an extreme on his radio show tomorrow? Undoubtedly. But he's got a point.
Yea, I am not trying to nit pick to what nickp is saying. They've had issues with that red light going on well before the clock turns to 0. Had there been replay, they would have used the clock, not the red light. I just want to see a picture of where the ball is when the clock turns to 0.After watching it again on channel 13, the clock still had time left after the red light came on.

Ref's said before the game that there is no replay, and what's called is what's called. Reviewing photographs of the red light on backboard does not apply either.
(I'm not trying to pick on your post with my comments either... they just lead into what I want to say).
Judgement calls happen throughout the entire game in many sports. One was made here. We won a game officiated that was officiated based on best judgement and not replays. I can understand the frustration of our opponents, but being on the other end of that type of call many times... I can understand that it's part of the game. No matter how much I complain about a bad call against ISU... it goes down as a loss in the end and it's part of sports.
I guess I will be laughing if anyone calls in to whine. Its nice to be sitting on this side of the story for once.
