I'd rather Harrison Barnes commit to ISU.. I wasn't planning on ISU making a bowl game this year, next year i feel as though we have an excellent shot at a bowl..

I think a Barnes commitment would mean more in the long run than a bowl game this year. Unless it's a BCS bowl.:cute:

Barnes. We're saving up for a house and the wife probably won't let me go to the bowl game.

Tough question....

If it's a win the B12N out of the blue bowl...then I'd pick the bowl.

If it's 6-6 bowl, then I pick Barnes.

Barnes. Unless we would win out and make a BCS bowl. Otherwise a low level bowl isn't necessarily that great. Barnes is a player that is a program changer.

Barnes...but I had to think about it. One big recruit in basketball can carry a team. I'm salivating for the days when March is more than a one-and-done in the Big XII Tournament.

Bowl:mask:...Sorry Im not a big bball fan. A bowl would do wonders for this young team. Any extra experience we can get is good. A bowl opens up recruiting and exposure for our program as well.

Gator or better I'd take the bowl. Otherwise I'd go Barnes.

Actually, and I'm not trying to sound like a douche here, but wouldn't Barnes be a one year deal (at least wouldn't we expect him to be) anyways? So a bowl game one year, or a 1 year player.

Of course, there's always the chance that wherever Barnes goes, he stays another year, but if he's as good as everybody thinks he is, you'd have to expect him to go NBA as soon as he can.

That's why I'd go with a good bowl. I don't think Barnes would be here for the long haul but it would do a lot to jazz up the fanbase and might make ISU more of a destination for some other big recruits.
