If any issue - war, terrorism, economy, civil rights, abortion, flag burning - is bigger than the US Constitution, it is saggy pants.

Melton has been indicted on a number of instances for carrying illegal concealed weapons into colleges, schools, and churchs, and has been charged numerous times with malicious mischief, house burglary, conspiracy and directing a minor to commit malicious mischief.

"I certainly respect the Constitution," Melton said, "but we have some issues that are much bigger than the Constitution."

Councilman Kenneth Stokes sponsored the saggy-pants ordinance. He said many of the young men who wear saggy pants also get in trouble at school or with police.

He said the ordinance was an attempt to "save all the children we can."
:twitcy::confused: REALLY?! Baggy pants are causing the problem? :twitcy:

I guess I am an ol' fuddy duddy. I absolutely hate them, more power to them. I am sorry, but what is cool about having to hold up your pants with your hands while you walk. Seriously, girls cannot find that attractive. Its not just the baggy jeans now....it cracks me up to see the boys with the tight pants, so tight they can't pull them up over their rear, and have to walk around with a hand through a belt loop to keep them up.
