Does Mcdermott think he isn't clutch? Because with one minute remaining 3 fouls isn't considered trouble(neither is 4). So why doesn't the one player that can really get to the hoop effectively not play in the clutch?

He only played 25 minutes tonight. I know he made some mistakes being too aggressive with the ball, but my god, we need his scoring ability late in the game. One field goal in the final 6 minutes......UNACCEPTABLE

Gilstrap has Kenny Pratt type moves for clutch scoring at the end of game, lets remember though this is Craig Brackins team, this team will not win until Craig finds a way to make sure the ball goes through him on EVERY possession at the end of games and that starts by not getting pushed around by players with far less talent than he has.

I do not know. The game just disconbubulated at the five minute mark as usual.

Bad coaching. Bad use of players. Bad use of time outs. Greg McDermott reminds me of John L. Smith.

He has Bronchitis, correct? Was that reported or just rumored? After a few minutes in he looked dead on Saturday night and tonight. Sucks, everything sucks.

His six turnovers may have had something to do with it.

This.

It's pretty painful to watch him over-penetrate into the lane and get a charge called or turn the ball over by dribbling into traffic. The good thing is that he's still adjusting to this level and has plenty of talent to get past these mistakes but I cringe whenever he power dribbles towards the basket.

I like Gilstrap's agressiveness but I think at times he needs to slow it down some and let the game come to him. His first 2 fouls were charges and both plays he seems to go barrelling to the hoop out of control. We play better when we make the extra pass and Gilstrap is one of those guys that can draw a defense in and create an open shot for someone else.

It was mentioned several times that Gilstrap needs to stop running into people, it isnt paying off at the moment. He should drive, step back and pop. Right now he is developing a taste for the charge.

This. The last 2 games we have not been making that extra pass. We're Craig is forcing shots against double teams. Better ball movement will take away from double teams, that and Lucca just standing on the wing doesn't help.

Bingo. Especially with Lucca. When you make 10 3's in a single game you surely are a focus on the scouting report and after you make a couple like he did last night they aren't going to let you shoot again that easily so we have to adjust by having some more ball movement to free up a shooter like Lucca.

Unfortunately Coach McD's system does not put a lot of effort into ball movement or even moving with out the ball.

Exactly. Gilstrap seems to have a nice touch. He doesn't need to take it to the rim every time. In fact, if he doesn't have a dunk, he seems to be more effective shooting that little jump shot. He's had several of his layup attempts swatted.

With Brackins, I feel just the opposite. He rarely ever charges because he fades away too much. But he's not all that accurate on his fadeaways. I'd rather see Brackins take it to the rim and get the foul call. He seems to have good enough control of his body to avoid the charge.
