Getting rep Vs. getting a like

I want more of both. My self-confidence is completely based off what people on the internet think about me and my opinions. I become giddy as a school kid when I look in the top right of my page and see that I have notifications!!!

I like the fact that with rep, you can attach a small message. Makes it more personal.

No thank you. I have no idea where your rep has been.

And a shot won't even take care of a Rep. Once you've gotten a Rep it stays with you forever. And when you put it that way it seems like a rep could be like Herpes or Hiv. I think you've just made a solid argument for "Like", and for being very careful who you post with.

I am a like *****, but I only give up the rep to someone who's really special. That and you can only give out so much rep per day/per person, so likes flow like water.

Since "likes" are counted, I think that makes them more attractive, though I enjoy the personalized comments of a "rep."
