I just saw Georgios walking around in a boot. No crutches or anything but he definitely was walking delicately on it. Hopefully it is just a precaution.

Good thing Fred didn't let McKay jump over him in the dunk contest or everyone would be blaming this on Jameel and Fred for letting this happen.

I hope it is nothing serious. Fred may have plans for him for the first part of the season. It would be nice if he didn't miss much practice; as a Freshman there is a lot for him to learn.

I heard that Georgios was on the Cy Fan App on his phone, trying to keep up with all the speculation on whether he will play this year or be a tremendous bust, and while not paying attention where he was walking tripped and fell, injuring his foot.

Is'nt Georgios the greek version of George? If so, can we call Niang "George", and Tsalmpouris "Big George"?

Crap. I was excited to watch him play in the first few games. Hopefully he is okay and is ready by November 7th.

I know injuries are never good, but if GT had to take a redshirt year, I wouldnt complain. If he isnt going to see much floor time, I would love to see him develope his body. He looks like he could use 20-30 lbs added to his frame.

These really tall guys seem to be injury prone more often than not. Hopefully not the case with GT.

He probably just sprained his ankle - they all wear a boot after that now. If we haven't heard anything of it yet then it isn't a big deal.

Eh, not as much of a joke as you might think. Saw him coming from the direction of the rec center a couple of weeks back on my way in to work. Stepped right out into the street from behind a car without looking...car in front of me had to hit the brakes pretty hard to avoid hitting GT. Oh - and someone should probably tell him what a PedX is...cars will be more likely to see him & stop for him if he uses them.
