Iowa City area
Heading back into Iowa after going to the late show last night.
I saw Iowans everywhere up there. Tons of ISU gear out and about, especially at the mall area hours ahead of the concert.

I think we need a roll call on who went.

Great show BTW. Truly looks like he still loves it.

Welcome to almost every weekend in the Twin Cities...there's always a boatload of Iowans in town for something or another.

My sister went to see his show at Veterans in Jacksonville on the 11th.
They had meet and greet/VIP passes they won from some event leading up to the show.
One of her friend's daughters(13 year old) wanted Trisha's autograph, she refused, Garth pretty much followed suit.
Their reason? The media/camera people weren't available to "document" the kind act.
What a class act........

Sick and tired of ppl, like Facebook friends, constantly idolizing the *******.
Sue another Hospital, Garf...

I'm surprised there were no cameras at a meet & greet - I've been to several, and they are always hovering in the wings.

As for the hospital issue, tough situation all around. He donated money for a specific project. The hospital planned to use it in other projects. Next time, tell the whole story.

I get more sick and tired of hearing people complain about their Facebook friends and their lame excuses when I ask why they are friends with or follow them.

My niece flew in from Dallas to go to the show, her and her friends had seats in the rafters. She then sends us pics us front row seat tickets and close up shots of Garth on stage!! WTF!!

He has a history of sending his people up into the audience before the show, and handing out front row tickets to people in the nosebleeds. A cynic would say that only sweet young thangs get those tickets, but I've heard of them going to families & older people also.

I get tired of hearing people complain that someone didn't put their name on something for them.

And your lack of context on the hospital thing is funny.

Went to the late show in Minneapolis last night. Unreal show, easily the best concert I've been to. You have to appreciate the energy he brings to every song he sings. No idea how he wasn't dying up there with all the running around he does, he's not exactly the most "in shape" guy around!

I went last weekend. It was my 7th time seeing him. First was in Omaha in 1989 when I was 9 on floor level about 10th row.

This was the most stripped down show I've seen him do. He didn't climb ladders or swing from cables, or run around like his hair was on fire. It was mostly the band and the music.

Best show by far far off the seven. Followed closely by the Kansas city shows and the 95 concert at Hilton.

My mother-in-law was all "Garth and what's her face did that?!?!?!?! I have a hard time believing that."
I unfollowed her *** for that.

Why does everyone have to edit their posts so much???

For the record: I'm donating this reply/quote. Like in honor of Ireland.
If you attempt to edit it, I'll sue you....

Garth is a great entertainer. I would love to see his show. I hope he comes to Iowa. He is at least from Oklahoma, you know the part of the south where they give their kids a decent education unlike places like Mississippi and the Carolina's.
