Depends on how Fred does and which side of the ledger you are on.

I will be curious to see how Fred does in the transfer market since, it has become more of the norm, these days.

Cannot remember, but didn't he have some higher end sit out 1 year transfers lined up before he even coached his first game?
His recruiting class per 247 is no. 50. Three ahead of ours and 13-16 stronger than frans.

I can honestly say I had not thought about Hoiberg once since a couple of days after the press conference.

Maybe I am over it.

Probably doesn't hurt you appear to be in AZ. How often does he get mentioned on your local sport's talk? How many NE grads work in your office? Hoiberg is playing in the PGA Champion's event pro-am here in Des Moines later this month. He is probably not playing the Phoenix Open's. :)

Fred upset about the Gary Thompson Award name not being in his honor. There is still a chance they might name the male athlete of the year award for Nebraska University of Nebraska Athletic Department Football Club and other sports the Fred Hoiberg award.
Lawrence Philips was a finalist...but no longer under consideration.

How many more days until Scott Frost loses again? I can't wait. #Dreamjob.

See Prohm and Brady Ernst.
No Ernst fan here, but that's apparently how it went down. Brought the kid in and told him it's time to go.

No biggie. It's just how the game is played.
It happens, yes, but hopefully the coach and player handle it cordially so the media doesn't hear about it leading to threads like this.

Not sure of timeframe for when the sit-outs officially signed, but notable players for season 2 were Royce, Chris Babb and Chris Allen. (Booker and John Lamb also were sit-out; Phillips was immediately eligible).

I remember numerous references to the "million dollar practice squad" during Fred's first year.

Hey, come listen to Omaha sports talk radio every day and get updates every hour about Fred this and Fred that. Nebrasketball is up and coming. Fred has gotten 9 new players already. He got the #2 Juco in the country! Blah, Blah, Blah, it makes you sick to hear all this about one of ISU's supposed heroes. He is dead to me. If you still want to worship him, it's still a free country, have at it.
