Homer forecast ...

Weiler-Babb -- completely healthy, proves a jack-of-all-trades who can both manage the offense and switch on anybody on defense, never really blows you away but every time you look at the end of the game he is pushing for a triple-double.

Nice work. The only thing I would change.

After-all he was averaging 13/8/8 last year until he really got slowed by injury.

Thank you. True. I did not want to be too ambitious, though.

I could have added "finally develops a consistent outside shot, which changes what he can accomplish on a basketball court more than anything, draws NBA interest as a guy with adequate size to be a 3&D wing at the next level despite his age and injury history."

If Weiler-Babb gets even a passable outside shot, he'll be amazeballs.

Young -- never flashy, definitely a complementary piece, but grabs a lot of rebounds, sets a lot of screens, and cleans up a lot of trash Hogue-style

When does that start to happen? Love Young, but he really isn't that good of a rebounder for his size and minutes. There were many games where I found myself looking at the end box score going "how did Young only have 2 rebounds?!?"

If rebound assists were a stat, he would of led the B12.

Absolutely. His role appears to be to block out, while others clean up the boards. He does really well in finding people and putting a body on them.

Don't disagree - but of all our bigs (Young, Lard, Jacobson) I bet Young averages the fewest on the year.

And that might be okay. Guys who box out, set screens, and deny post entry passes/force passes back out do not generate any numbers for it.

It does not mean they are unproductive players, however.

I honestly believe Oklahoma will be terrible next year.

Of all the teams, I'd guess West Virginia will underperform those expectations. They lost arguably 3 of their top 4 offensive threats, and we've all seen how ugly the West Virginia offense can get when they don't have people to initiate on offense. Not to mention the defensive ability and leadership of Carter.
