After watching Sammy for 3 years, why do people still think the bubble screen or zone read should be in his playbook? He's struggled bigtime with both of those plays his first 3 years, especially the bubble screen, he's fine with zone read when the read is to keep the ball. He struggles when its a handoff read. You can tell he's just a split second slow with that read.
I'd like to see an easy pass play to open things up, giving Sam a couple of easy throws could help him get in a flow, maybe find one of the big WR on a slant. Either that or a play action pass that gets him out of the pocket and gives him the option to run if need be. More than anything, building Sam's confidence is key. When he has a little swagger, he's much more effective.
