I want your opinion on something. Every week, I transcribe CPR's press conference. I don't mind doing this, but it takes FOREVER. I just got everything ready so now, I can post the presser in audio format.

Which do you prefer? The text or the audio...or both?

If I were to stop typing out the entire presser, I'd have a lot more time for features, analysis etc. Just picking your brain here. Please give me some constructive feedback. This is your site.

I usually watch it on cyclones.com. Audio should work for those that don't want to go there.

I prefer the text personally because I can't really listen to the podcasts or audio when I'm on the computer in my lab. You do a great job with everything concerning this site though so do what works for you.

I don't think I've ever read the entire transcript. I think a recap with some analysis of the high points would be enough for me.

I read it, but honestly, any quotes from him in the presser that are worthwhile, you or any other media member are going to have in their stories. I say toss it out.

I don't pay a cent for the best Cyclone site ever, so I say whatever makes life easier on the guy that owns the shop is the best course of action.

Thanks for your input. Today, I'm going to try posting the audio and then I'll write a column featuring what I felt were some of the highlights. We'll try it out this way for a week and see what you all think. Thanks again.

Agreed with others above- audio and written highlights would probably be good enough.

I like to text. However, I would settle for Audio as long as the questions that reporters ask are in text in order they were asked. Sometimes it's hard to listen to the questions being asked.

I do not use any audio on my computer due to those working around me. If I watch a video it is without audio and I don't even open audio files. I appreciate the text, but I suppose I can survive with the highlight quotes. This is still much more than we all got even 10 years ago!
