I think all of those "held" season ticket locations will remain until AFTER the Iowa game. Then those "held" tickets will be made available for single game purchase. Some of the held seats are right by my season ticket location (as they were in years past), and in those past years I was able to buy those seats for some family members who wanted to attend a game or two with us.

I dont know if they were held seats or part of the visitor allotment, but last year, the two seats directly in front of our seats were always either empty or with fans of the other school in them.
These were spots that when I selected my location were not selectable. There were also four open seats in front of the two.
They were prime seats too right on the 50 in the upper deck row 4.

I always thought the open seats in my section might be part of the mobile pass rotation. Seems odd the seats on the 50 would be filled with visiting fans. Maybe they are VIP seats the AD makes available as a courtesy to other ADs.

Could've been tickets bought by people intending to sell those tickets. If you only need 2 tickets but can buy 4 or 8 in that section depending on donor level, since you've already paid the donation, for seats like that it isnt hard to make the additional ticket cost back throwing them on stubhub in good years. Can probably make a few hundred\ticket off the iowa game, a hundred off UNI and most conference games.

I too thought it was odd.
Now that I think back, against Tech, one of the ladies was wearing a jersey with Kingsbury on the back. So maybe they are VIP seats to the opposing AD.

I just called the ticket office. I am a Cardinal level donor so I am able to buy single game tickets before tomorrow. She said Iowa game is sold out. But, if the general public calls in tomorrow, will there be tickets for them? Surely they have held some seats open. And are they still holding seats for more season ticket buyers? Guess I just don't trust that you get the whole story when you try to buy tickets. I doubt that the stadium is truly completely sold out for Iowa yet.

I think the only way you'll get in the iowa game at this point through the ISU ticket office is to get one of the remaining few hundred season tickets.

They certainly wouldnt tell a donor they were sold out of single game tickets and then release single game tickets to the general public

The Iowa game could very well be almost sold out too.. Especially with both teams receiving hype and the fact that Game Day could be there.

Yea, I am confident that all the single-game Iowa tickets were taken up by NCC donors. There will be none for general public tomorrow.

But as we have discussed, looks like JP is holding out some seats for $325 or $499 season ticket sales to get to 45,000. And I have no problem with that.

Silly season ticket question:

I sent 2 of my 'hard copy' season tickets to someone. They can no longer go.

Instead of them sending them back, I should be able to just print them from my account and use them that way? Or do they have to send them back.

I think I know the answer but.. wanted to double check.

You are correct. An alternative is that you can have the tickets reissued which generates a new barcode in case the tickets got lost.

Now 1 left at $225, 189 at $325, and 279 at $499. That's a total of 469, so 51 tickets in the past day.

Single-game tickets go on sale tomorrow, I wonder how low we can get the count to by then.

Just ordered 3 season tickets at the 325 level today in the non donor section. All first time season ticket holders since being a student/ going with my parents before that.
