Do you know what sexual harassment is?
Whether it's an office building or a football stadium, it's still a work environment.
He did admit to the voice mails when questioned by the league, but not the **** pics. I'm sure this would mark the first time Brett Favre ever lied.

My point is that if a girl likes it (the messages, not the pics), I have a hard time calling it sexual harassment. If she didn't like it than I agree that it is sexual harassment. I really have no clue of what happened like everyone else. I'm just not guessing Favre wasn't calling her over and over b/c she showed him no signs, but maybe he was. Does it make it right? No, he is a married man and whatever he gets for punishment is deserved.

Good point. I have said from day 1 that I am sure he did it. I was just asking as the NFL has been pretty quiet on the matter. I hadn't heard anything
I've followed Favre's career more closely than you for obvious reasons, and I would have to say that without a doubt, you are the biggest Favre apologist I have ever ran into. He stayed on one year too many, and he is starting to realize it. I don't care how much heart or guts he has, his body is shot, I just hope he can actually walk away from football and not get carted off.

What are things you could say about any team in the league?

Not really. Teams like Buffalo, Carolina, and San Francisco have other issues that need to be addressed before they can even worry about "learning how to win", such as adding appropriate talent to the team and addressing coaching/office issues. Teams like Minnesota, Dallas, Cincinnati, Denver, and San Diego already know how to win to some extent from experience - they just aren't doing it.

I think there are fewer teams out there that are in a situation where "learning how to win" would make a significant difference than you imply - for instance, it could be as few as 4 teams in that situation this year - Detroit, St Louis, Cleveland, and Oakland.

Brett Favre has been my favorite NFL player since he was a Packer. I had his Packers jersey even though I was a Vikings fan. He is a tough SOB.

What you are saying about him staying one year to many is the same thing people said 5 years ago. Than the year after he led the Packers to the NFC title game. Than fans said the same thing when he was with the Jets. Than he led the Vikings to the NFC title game.

Maybe one of these days he'll listen.

I hope he sends out pictures of his ankle so we can be in awe of just how tough and amazing he is.

I don't think any reasonable person needs to see pictures of his ankle to know that he is tough. You can see how tough he is every Sunday. One of the few QB's in football that steps into a throw when he knows he is about to get destroyed. And he pops right back up. That's why he's always been my favorite. Most QB's don't get up from the shots he takes. He just keeps coming back for more

I'm having a hard time even watching the NFL anymore. Really the only reason i flip it on is because of my fantasy teams.

Do you really think it was sexual harassment? I don't. If you are so disgusted by a man's junk you don't keep it on your phone for 2 years. She obviously liked him/it.

Also has Favre admitted to the pics? Serious question. I thought I heard, and I could be wrong, that he admitted to the phone calls but said he never sent pics of his princess sophia

She was probably keeping them on her phone should things with Favre get weirder. While he doesn't have direct authority to fire her he could have made things weird for her at the Jets. She didn't keep them for sexual enjoyment, she's trying to protect herself in some manner. Or she likes to make fun of a creepy old perv who made an incredibly awkward pass at her. If you read her e-mails to deadspin this was true.

The pics were sold to deadspin by a 3rd party, whether or not she saw proceeds from that we won't really know. She has been basically mum on this and has not been fame-whoring like a Tiger mistress. If she wanted to profit there are deeper pockets to sell pics to then Deadspin/Gawker. This girl may be a teased up fake boob-a-saurus but she hasn't been trying to profit from this or gain fame from it's revelation.

It doesn't sound like text book sexual harrassment as he didn't intimidate her, promise her rewards for sexual favors or threaten her job. It's a creepy unwelcome advance that is probably a violation of the conduct policy since she was an employee of the Jets when it took place. If they can show a pattern that he sexted the massage girls than he may get suspended. It would be hypocritical of the NFL to get their panties in a bunch over Inez Sainz and not act on this with the same level of outrage.
