Food: MU
Chick Scenery: Lago, and it's not even close. At least until we hit spring, then sorority row.
Classes: Gerdin

I chose Catt because when I started at ISU, it was Old Botany and was a complete disaster. The fact that they completely refurbished it and made it a truly beautiful building on campus rather than replacing it with a concrete monstrosity like Ross was a wise move. Same for Morrill Hall. Sometimes they do the right thing

Morrill Hall is awesome, even though I never thought they'd actually get the thing done before I graduated.

I like the grand old look of Beardshear, and Stephens auditorium (since I can't pick Hilton).

I like State Gym too, probably because I like dark dive bars. The Union is cool with its unique features and hidden places.

I have a soft spot for Sweeney (no I wasn't a ChemE) because of a little quiet computer lab I used to go to.

I like the look of Beardshear the best, but it reminds me of standing in line to fork over $. I'll go with MU, followed by Curtiss, and Ross.

Excellent answer! The stone steps in front of Old Botany were literally rutted from the legions of students who'd passed over them; to have demolished that building would have been a tragedy (same for Morrill). I have great memories of exploring Old Botany prior to it's restoration, courtesy of an unlocked window accessed from the fire escape on the east side. The Daily would run articles about it (to drum up support for saving), such as several students died there in a make-shift hospital during the 1918 Influenza epidemic. Off we'd go late that night in search of ghosts! Note: We were not vandals - we respected the building!

When I worked for asset recovery on campus I actually got to go in there circa 1998/99 pretty cool. We also got to go through the old ISU radio and TV studio before they tore it down. Lots of cool stuff in there.

Yea, I'll bet. I'm gonna start feeling old when I can start regaling current students with my tales of a pre-Caribou Coffee Hub.

Three of us slept in there one night on a dare -- I think it was 1969 or 70.

I went with the Union, because it is classic and there are lots of things to do. Friley is a really cool building, but I only spent one summer there. I do like Sweeney for its clean look and the old backdoor VAX computer lab.

The MU was fun to climb....hmmmm I'd say either Hoover/Howe, MU, Beardshear, or like part of Lagomarciano.

Music Hall and Gerdin would be the places i spent the most time in. Spent a ridiculous amount of time in the music hall lobby area.

I spent all my time in Hamilton, but what a boring *** building to look at. Loved Lagomarcino.
Yeah, Hamilton is not the prettiest building on campus. I always liked Catt Hall, and Morrill Hall - though I haven't been in it since it was remodeled. I also like the old part of Parks Library.

Ah, vendo-land I think I ate at least half of my lunches there when I worked at Durham.

Yea, I was the same way when I worked in Marston. I worked over the lunch hours so I always used to grab a quick cup of soup and a sandwich. I acknowledge that it is nicer now, but still miss being able to do that.

I love State Gym. Has a very cool, historic feel to it. Too bad it is closed right now...

Hope it is sweet when they are done renovating it.

Believe me, you'll get your wish. It's gonna be freaking awesome. Too bad they'll finish it right after I'm gone... just like every single other school I've attended in my life. They always start the super-sweet additions during my last year, so I have to deal with the construction, but never actually get to use the building.
