Would not shock me as we are due for a brutal winter. Last 2 have been pretty mild, 2 years ago my snow blower never even left the garage because we never got anything measurable enough to make it worth using. Last year didn't use it that much either, probably got my charcoal grill out of the garage more times than the snow blower these past 2 winters.
That being said I still HATE winter but glad I don't have to deal with it as much as I did growing up on the farm. Nothing sucks more than trying to thaw out a frozen cattle waterer in below 0 wind chill and hoping part of the valve doesn't fall into the tank of nearly freezing water once you get the valve thawed out. Definitely have an appreciation for the comforts and conveniences of living in town now instead of getting drifted in out in the country and dealing with things that have to be maintained for the livestock out on the farm.
