Just be happy in what directions we are headed. Stop complaining about not being respected, it comes with be a cyclone. Until we constantly win 8-9 regular season games, nobody will care about us. But being a cyclone we know where we used to be at and where CPR wants to take us. Enjoy the ride, I am tired of these stupid non respect threads.

Sorry for your frustration friend. The post was intended to pass along an opinion piece and highlight the discussion on the up-coming ISU-TTU game for entertainment sake.

Yes, like most of what's on the internet, it's meaningless conjecture and speculation parading as news.

DU only watches Texas, OU, and WVU games... and reads the AP recap on KSU.

Only looks at scores for the rest so he is really uninformed.

Ubben seems to value offense above defense, so I'd say that's why he has us so low. He doesn't think we'll be able to win in the Big XII without scoring 30+ points a game.

Dude's a complete idiot to think WVU is going to win Big 12.

Have you watched the first 3 weeks? Not saying WVU is a lock but they have to be the first or second favorite right now...PLENTY of people (including me) think they have a good shot at the Big 12 title.

Ubben always favors the southern teams. There is no legitimate reason for putting TT ahead of us. We have beat better teams this year, had a better season last year and pummeled them 2 year in a row. But, since they have destroyed the juggernauts of Texas St, Northwestern St, and New Mexico, Ubben thinks they are better.

So by that logic, we never should have expected to beat Iowa last year after getting crushed 35-3 and 35-7 the prior two years, especially with them having much better records both prior years?

Have you seen the two teams they've played? A good FCS team in James Madison and a bad non-BCS team in Marshall. Of course they look amazing right now. They haven't played a team with a pulse!

I've got no problems with it. I disagree with his opinion, but I can see where he's coming from.

Regarding the non-conference schedule he's said he doesn't see Iowa as a very good team and that Tulsa may have been our toughest non-conference opponent. So while we had a (in his mind) slightly tougher non-conference schedule, we didn't look as good completing it.

Also, when a good offense meets a good defense in the Big 12, history tells us the offense usually wins. So I can't fault him for thinking Texas Tech will win the game because their offense has looked so much better.

Either way, he's said whoever wins the game will own a spot in the bowl projections. So just win baby!

Massey has ISU beating WVU to finish the season. Here's the link to his latest probabilities for WVU:

Massey Ratings - West Virginia University

And I repeat: Ubben's an idiot thinking WVU is going to win B12 this year.

We will see how fast WVU is when they play on our tundra in Nov.

No, but it makes a sh***y argument to have us favored in those games.
