Does Bass go over 200 yards?

I know Bass was pretty happy with the 133 yards he had against Kent State until GC told him he should have had 200 and showed him why. Getting Blythe to throw a block would have gotten him another long run, and maybe a TD.

Re: Does Bell go over 200 yards?

Did you mean Bass? If so, I'm confident he'll break the century mark again but I'd be really surprised if he makes 200.

Then again, if there was to be any week he hits 200 it would be this one.

I doubt he gets 200 because Meyer will be too busy lighting the UNI secondary on fire. I've got Bass with 87 yards and a TD.

JJ is going to have a heck of a night, no doubt about it. Just you watch. He'll hit 150 with ease. But I'm an idiot, so that could be incorrect.

I hope the o line puts together a full game the played real well the first half giving Bass a lot of really good holes, then kinda shut down in the second half. but i think GC and Co. will figure it out and givee ISU a great chance to win. Bass 145 yrds 2 tds meyer gets back on track passes for 240 and 2 tds one to blythe one to RJ

One thing I saw in the running game last week was that in the second half when Bass was not as effective, a lot of the tackles were being made by safeties and DBs. It was as if they saw some tendency and knew when ISU was going to run. With a new offense I can see how this could happen.

You can see that Bass has the running style that could get him some big totals, I'd be all for it as long as we're winning.

Yeah he's a one cut and downhill guy, Stevie Hicks was sort of like that but then he got hampered with all those injuries. I also heard that Stevie played his whole senior season last year with a hernia...is that true?

Hopefully he gets more than 200 yards because we're trying to run the clock out in the 3rd-4th quarter. If we had maintained a substantial lead versus Kent State, Bass would've had 200 yards easily.
