I left early, but it wasn’t exactly my choice. I had a little too much to drink during tailgating, and my driver wanted to leave... so right when we got down 17 we ended up taking off. I’m glad that we won but not happy that I missed the best part :(

Our fan support these last two home games have been atrocious, we are about to finish 8-4 and the athletic department still pleads for fan support. Coach Campbell speaks highly of fan support, it has to be deflating to see this. Shame on you Cyclone Nation. I home I live to see a full JTS in November!

I was taught by my parents that you never leave a sporting event early. I’ve never regretted staying. Never. Even when we’ve lost. Even when we are up by 35 points with a -10 windchill. Even when I am so pissed at the team or coaches.

There are many reasons this is a good thing not the least of which is being superior to the dipshits that leave.

I don't blame anyone for shielding themselves from more Iowa State sports trauma. You wanna leave, I get it. Let's all just celebrate slaying the vampire. No need to start bashing fellow fans.

But you don’t shield yourself from ****. If you left early and we lost, you’d be just as pissed if you stayed.

Will not bash fellow Clones, but this is a new Cyclone era....they never quit. Fans sometimes need to learn lessons too. Our section was great from the start, but the 4th quarter was a blast.

Gonna be honest... For the Baylor game I wore sweat pants under my jeans and like 4 layers up top. I was cold but ready.

Today it seemed warmer so I just wore jeans. Turned out the wind was coming straight at us in the upper end zone. By the third TO my thighs werre freezing so we left.

Was it a mistake? Yes. It ended up being dumb and we missed a hell of an ending. I regret leaving.

But I've earned the right to leave in situations like that by being there every single game for over a decade. Rain, wind, snow, you name it. 99% of the time we all know how it ends. And it's hard to know if this one time will be "the time".

So yeah, it sucked and we ended making a bad decision. Next time I'll stay longer.

On the other hand, maybe my juju of ****** games is what turned us around by leaving. Or maybe it was Mike Rose. We'll never know.

I had a carload of clothes but like a dumazz I under dressed for the stadium and froze. Did I leave early? No.

Shoutout to those in the top row of the east side upper who stayed the whole game. Had to have been brutal.

You’re welcome for us leaving. It caused the team to get right and win.

Its funny because Chris Williams on the post game show said that he thought the game was LOST at the 17 point deficit mark, and so did I.....After watching ISU collapse for over 55 years, I knew billybobsnyder had the game won....But coach Snyder finally lost one that he thought he had in the bag and so did everyone else.....

Coach Snyder was at a loss for words to the KState scribes after the game, just read the account on kansascity.com. It is very revealing to where Coach Snyder is right now and that's not a good place....

Thanks Coach Campbell so very much for ...Driving the Stake right thru the Heart of KState football....

This is interesting. I gave pooh to Hokie fans on Friday. Fans were filing out after VT turned it over later in the 4th to UVA.....Welp, VT won it in an incredible finish....

Like Chris Williams, I had given up. We were being gashed. K-State was rolling us. We finally scored a TD. Then Harvey causes the fumble that Rose returned for a TD. And like a Vampire we rose back to life. Unbelievable.

Shame on you UNIGuy4Cy! Were you there at the end? The crowd was fantastic! I can't imagine any school on the planet having more or more excited fans at the end of a game like that!

P.S. Welcome to my Ignore list.

Our seats are on the eastside, upper level, and it wasn't that bad. We were colder during the Baylor game. We did do lots of jumping during the 4th quarter though.....;)

No doubt layers and good foot wear is essential.

I left early because I was developing symptoms of food poisoning from eating at Mexican restaraunt in Ames last night before the game. I have been puking and having diarrhea all last night after I got home and this morning.

I tried to stay as long as I could but gave up when K-State scored their final touchdown. Do I regret leaving ? No. Otherwise I would have been puking driving back to DSM. Glad we won though! Defintiely calling in sick tomorrow.
