man, I really hope we're picked 8th a third straight season because barring some catastrophic injuries there's absolutely no way we finish lower than fifth, really I'd be quite surpised if we're any lower than 4th. Returning the league's most dominant rebounder, returning the league's best sophomore, adding a proven point/combo guard, and bringing in one of the Big 12's best recruiting class...plus Hilton is always Hilton. PUMPED.
I know it's been discussed ad-nauseum, but the scholarship situation just got a bit interesting! Curious to see how this all plays out.
Do Bubu's parents still work for the University? Can he go off scholarship and still go to school for free?
You got me, I had been saying that (along with espn bloggers) before he made his surprise decision and forgot it's not a feather in ISU's hat anymore ;-)
Exactly. Even though if we don't lose anyone to transfer I think Bubu is the obviously scholarship that will go. Was walkon before andis instate so its not as large of a financial burden as an out of state guy.
People have been asking this ever since Bubu joined the team, and for about the 10,000th time the answer is no. Bubu does not get a single cent of discount, much less free tuition, due to where his parents work.
Plus, only his dad works (or worked) for ISU. I work with his mom in Des Moines at another company...
