Feedback: Day 4 bugs/ideas/reporting

Force is a strong word...encourage would be better. But yeah, I'd like one or the other - it's hard to read some of the user names...and some can be so similar that I tend to rely on avatars to help differentiate.

Just had some concerns with the podcasts. There isn't a way to download the actual audio file onto your phone anymore. I can play the podcast just fine. Adam, recommended I download the podcast app on my phone then subscribe to cyclonefanatic. I tried that, I was able to play the podcast just like I could from the website, but when I tried downloading it from there it did not work.

The whole point in wanting to download the audio file is so I don't have to be connected to a wifi hotspot or my data plan in order to listen. I've found it much easier and more convenient to download the entire podcast onto my phone while I'm connected to wifi, and then be able to listen to it later by accessing my phones audio files when I'm on the go/unable to connect to data(or I don't want to use data)/away from wifi. I always do this with the KXNO podcasts from their website just by clicking on the blue download icon, and then the file immediately downloads into my audio files on my phone.

Lastly, I just tried listening to a podcast on my laptop (using google chrome as the browser), and when I wanted to skip ahead on the podcast to where I left off, the audio immediately reset to the beginning and I would've had to restart the whole recording. Note: this is not the case however when listening to it on my phone. I can skip to whichever place I want

From what I have seen, root words are filtered, including CG's favorite word. However, plurals and extensions of the words are not being filtered. It's a little disconcerting...

Thanks for the detailed message. We are currently working to perfect the podcasts. This is quite the process but trust that our guys are on it. It's a HUGE part of what we're trying to do here and I promise it isn't on the back burner.

Also, good news. Blum and I are recording a fall camp preview pod tomorrow night!

If you click on preferences, the browsing preferences towards the bottom you decide on in-state and cave. Not sure if those carried over from old site or not.

I'll be coming around a lot less until the opt-out feature is fixed. This site is intolerable with politician and in-state rivals threads. At least suspend those forums until it's fixed.

In the old website you could set the threads in reverse order so you did not have to go the last page. Also when you zoom to 175% or more the top menus disappear and you have to scroll back to the top of the page to click on new post.
