For comparison, does anyone have Jason Berryman's stats? 40, vert., bench, etc. TIA

Alright. Wait until he actually produces to crown him a first round pick. He may have all the tools, but giving him so much praise because of his insane athletic abilities is unfair.

Dollars: 4 Cell Phones: 1 although those stats may have been from his sophmore year.

Nobody crowned him anything, they said he had first round potential which, based solely on athletic ability, he does have. Doesn't mean he'll be a first rounder or even a consistent starter, just means he has the physical ability to develop into that.

He's an awesome athlete clearly. Looking forward to watching him progress into an awesome football player. Really wish he would have redshirted.

Cheers

This sums up my feelings perfectly. He's clearly a great athlete, but he's very unproven as a football player thus far. He really needed a RS year this year IMO. You could tell he wasn't anywhere near ready to play this year when he was out there. Wasted year IMO.

I know I'll get my usual treatment on here of being Mr. Downer, but I just hate it when people just heap HUGE expectations on a kid that hasn't shown us a thing yet. Maybe he'll be a great one, maybe he'll be average.... who knows at this point? But I'm not going to buy into the fact that he'll be a first round pick because he can broad jump and has a great vertical leap too. That has VERY little to do with being a great football player.

Give the kid time and let him show what he can do.

I thought last year that he really needed some time in the weight room to adjust to they physical-ness of college football. Unfortunately, with Maggitt out for the year by the time the first game was over, ISU needed some depth. Should be a good player down the line, but he really needs to get more physical, which will come with added strength.

That is because you are Mr. Downer. You make freaking Eor look like Richard Simmons.

Probably should have redshirted him.

Obviously we needed him since he played. Getting experience isn't going to hurt him either. Hell if he lives up to his potential he wouldn't have been here for that fifth year anyways.
