Just say no to sliders.
I can't confirm that it is still true, but back in the 70's the Heinz plant in Muscatine made Heinz ketchup and HyVee ketchup on the same line - only difference was the label. Have you ever wondered why the bottles are EXACTLY the same?
Same with Home Town Milk and HyVee milk. They both came from the same truck in Iowa City and the milk was identical.
Sidetrack, but I guarantee there is no milk coming on a truck from Iowa City these days....just counting down until they bulldoze that plant along with that busted-arse Hy-Vee and build me a brand new Hy-Vee.
The Dairy Queen in Nevada has the world's worst cheeseballs. Starbucks in Nevada on the other hand....absolutely incredible cheeseballs.
Maybe on a consistent basis, and maybe in a drive thru setting but sweet mother of god, I ordered cheese balls at a local place....I think they threw them in before the fryer was hot...the inside was melted, but the outside was not fried to the proper hardened shell, so I got a basket full of melty cheese chunks stuck together covered in greasy bread crumbs (I know, it kind of sounds good, but it's not). Of course, the same location has been at least 34 different restaurants in the past 5 years, so what should I expect, eh?
