Agreed. I have not seen much hope for the rest of this season, but with this win there is a slim chance. The final 3 games will be BRUTAL. Hopefully we can push another upset and go bowling.

Thought we had no shot, one of the best defensive performances i have ever seen from an Iowa State team

AND best offensive performances I've seen in a long time.

Scoring in the first quarter...3 times!
Taking advantage of turnovers.
NOT turning the ball over.
Running the ball at will!

I never quite expected any 34 point blowouts, but this is the way I've been expecting Iowa State to play all season. Careful with the ball and stopping the pass.

I think me not watching the game made all the difference. Every game I've watched on clone zone has been a loss for ISU. Therefore, I resolve not to ever watch a game on clone zone in the near future. Also, I'm glad that betting against ISU for this game paid off.

I should have some of that bird too, I thought that ISU had no chance in this game after the last 4 weeks of floundering.

Same here, I had pretty much put the towel in. CPR continues to surprise. This is why we should support every week.

I thought that we had a good chance at getting a win tonight, but in no way could I have predicted such a dominating performance. Last week's improved performance vs. Texas A$M in Barnett's first significant action gave me some hope that the offense would continue to improve with him leading. Secondly, Texas Tech was coming off a huge win and might be overlooking a team that had lost four straight. Only way to appreciate this victory is to follow it up with a dominating win vs. Kansas next weekend.

I love this crow, got 2nds for tomorrow too. Great all around game by both sides. Nice to see what Barnett could do out there, seems like a smart kid who runs this offense well I just hope we don't get carried away with him yet as a fanbase, he's got a lot of improvement to do, but this team has the potential to put together games like that and against any big 12 team for that matter. See you all in Jack Trice next saturday! Only two home games left this season already...CFB just flies by.

I sure as heck didn't expect the day to turn out as it did football wise in this state. I had thought for a while if the Tech game was at home, we would have had a shot, but it being on the road was trouble.

I have watched so few Iowa State blowouts in my life, that whe we were up 31-7 late in the game, I still thought TT had a chance. And I when we were up 41-7, I was still worried. I'm not even kidding.

You're not a Cyclone fan if you weren't worried about a comeback up until the end.
