I don't trust that the residents of Texas will do the right thing and keep him out of politics. He's a big enough ****** on ABC/ESPN, we don't need him douching it up in Washington, too.

This could be a huge win. Hopefully ESPN will drop him, he won't get elected, and ESPN won't take him back. Oh, God, please let that happen.

This is the best case scenario.

Seriously though, some times I wish we had more qualifications for running for certain public offices. What training/knowledge/anything in Craig James's back groun qualifies him to hold that level of power? He's a wealthy ego maniac that ruthlessly wields his power against anyone who crosses him.

He's like a dumb Nixon.

I would imagine they'd have to limit his time on air if he comes out as an official candidate. I can't for the life of me figure out why the state of Texas would elect a man who's background is broadcast sports and got a man fired from his job because his kid didn't get enough playing time to the Senate. On the other hand, I come from the state of such political success stories as Jesse Ventura and Al Franken, so I can't really judge.

He'd actually fit in pretty well with the other genius politicians Texas gas given us over the years.

Minnesotans do have a tendency to elect completely unqualified people.

I would say that both Ventura and Franken seem more intelligent than James.

Ventura seemed pretty intelligent right up until he actually got sworn in. He then promptly went bat-**** crazy and it seems to have only gotten worse since he left office.
