Im assuming the other QB you are talking about is Jon Beutjer? If so, he transferred because he was named 2nd string before the start of that season. Nothing to do with the fans.

No, its cause his DB teammate/roommate stuck a pool cue in his eye. And that guy was awarded for by being put on the leadership council.
