I like the matchups. Really need Lester to come out tomorrow and get us a 1-0 series lead.

I'm feeling good about Game 1, Lester has been real sharp lately. A 2.36 ERA with a 0.78 WHIP over 42 IP in Sep/Oct, he's had post-season success before and he said he came here to win, great chance to help the Cubs do that here.

If the Cubs get Game 1, there's tons of pressure on the Cards in Game 2 with Arrieta looming in Game 3. Get an early lead in that one and let them start pressing as they feel the pressure building.

I'd rather see Haren in Game 4 than Hammel. Haren is a fly ball pitcher and in Wrigley, in October, it should easier for him to keep the ball in the park. Hammel can't get through the 1st inning without giving up 1 run.

Maddon has pretty much confirmed Haren wont be on the roster. Noted that Hammel could start game 4, and that there would not be nay changes to the NLDS roster from the Wild Card roster other then needing to trim a position player.

Also, Mondays game will either start at 3:30 or 5. 3:30 if one or both of the AL series are over, 5 if they are both still on.

Game 4 and Game 5 will start at 3:30, unless the Mets/Dodgers series is over, then it will start at 7.
