On a particular dating app, the number one prompt on a profile I've seen is "Make sure we're on the same page about..." is the Savory to Sweet Breakfast Ratio.

So what does CF have to say?

Savory I think.

But I dislike a lot of breakfast foods. I hate pancakes, waffles, French toast, cereal, toast.

I like breakfast foods that are more like regular food. So a southwest omelet vs a ham and cheese. Breakfast burrito instead of 2 eggs and bacon. Basically anything to cover up the breakfast taste.

I went with moderately savory. I prefer savory but don't mind an occasional pancake or waffle. Plus I eat a lot of maple and brown sugar oatmeal since the tongue surgery.

The basic triumvirate of an egg, a protein, and a carb is really tough to beat for breakfast.

Fried egg, bacon and toast.
Scrambled egg, sausage and tortilla
Basted egg, fried ham, English muffin

You can add other things, but the base is rock solid.

I was gonna post about how a basted egg isn’t as good as over easy eggs on top of hash browns but I’m not gonna do it

Trying to drop a few pounds, so it’s savory for me. Typically just a couple hard boiled eggs these days.

It takes me an unhealthy amount of syrup to eat french toast or waffles and I just don't eat pancakes. Omelette or biscuits and gravy for me or I'd rather just have the breakfasts foods as part of a non-breakfast meal.

I voted moderate savory, because who doesn't like a cinnamon roll or donut every once in a while. But for a traditional breakfast, gotta go with eggs (over medium), toast, hashbrowns, bacon.
