Look at Harrison Phillips development under Flores.

If his play catches up to his ability, that pick will be a great DT or DE.

Doesn't Flores like flexibility along the defensive line?
Yeah, Ingram-Dawkins could potentially play all along the d line

I tried to check, but some of the results were weird.

Looks like the Vikes’ ‘26 Draft will be missing a fifth rounder from the Cam Robinson trade, that I’ll assume will be bumped up to a fourth based on his PT.

And a conditional sixth for Cam Akers.

That’s all I found last night. Of course, it was late and I was exhausted, so take it as you will.

They'll also be in line for another 3rd and either 4th or 5th as a result of the compensatory pick process.

Thor on Purple Daily graded the Vikings draft as a ’D’. Mainly because of the lack of picks going into their draft severely limited them being able to move up and down the board.
He said the early unexpected run on OL kept the Vikings from trading back as Jackson was the only quality G left.
The only pick he really didn’t like was the Pitt TE. He thought the Nebraska TE was rated higher.

If McCarthy goes down.... yikes. You can say that about all the other NFL teams, too.

Darnold was the 3rd overall pick. Howell was a fifth-rounder.
So what? I can point to lots of crappy high picks and lots of late good ones. The fact is KOC is good, and we only need a back up. Frankly, though, I'd bet KOC could turn this kid into a serviceable starter, if not more.

Howell is still on his rookie contract, that alone saves Minnesota millions versus signing a free agent journeymen.
Yeah, as an example the Vikings are paying Howell around $15m less than the Colts are paying Daniel Jones (depending on incentives for Jones). That difference allowed the Vikings to make a lot of the free agent moves they did this off season.
