The guy can write, but singing has never been his strong suit.

You seem surprised by this. Kinda like my reaction when the doctor says I need to lose weight.

It's high level of crappiness did surprise me. I didn't expect it to be good, but I didn't expect it to be that bad.

It's kind of like what I'd picture Axl Rose covering Andrea Bocelli's songs being like.

I like it. Probably will be my go-to gift for the family "gag-gift" trade off. One the family can sit around and laugh at. A few years ago, it was this one:

Ha! I love it. It is going to sound really bad....and that is why I will love it! I love Bob Dylan....totally known for his lyrics....(he has some classics!) But I would have to agree....singing is not his strong suit.

I also love Neil Diamond's Christmas songs too. I love Neil, but they just make me laugh....over embellishing on a number of them. Hilarious.

There are a good 4 Bob Dylan songs I enjoy listening to, something tells me this album is not going to increase that number.

Just tell me he doesn't do "Sleigh Ride" or "Holly Jolly Christmas"

For christmas, Harry Connick Jr, does a great job. I know that takes 6 punches out of my already tattered man card, but he is pretty talented.

I tend to enjoy most musicians' christmas remakes.

Mine is "A Very Brady Christmas".

Everyone loves it when I put that one in the player.

I also have Jingle Cats "Meowy Christmas".

There is something so wrong about Dylan doing a Christmas album. I love Bob Dylan, but it's just so, well, cheesy. And he's not a good singer which is kind of what you need for christmas songs.

Whip that man card out proudly my friend.

I even follow Harry Connick Jr on Facebook. One of my favorite artists and will always catch his local shows.

Just wish he'd venture back into the funk and jazz realms again. His slower stuff is getting a tad old.

Too bad about this Dylan album. I'd otherwise consider getting it - my wife is a big Dylan fan. I don't get it, don't really care for him myself.

this was a really bad idea for Bob. Could be the worst thing I have ever heard.

Agreed on Connick Jr, and to take out some more punches, throw in the two original Andy Williams Christmas albums (green and red) from the mid 1960's.

You can get a few punches back by throwing in the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas DVD...

Reminds me of Billy Mack singing, "Christmas is All Around":

Man Cards should never come into play vis a vis Christmas Music.
