So. I love cool uniforms and I can't wait to see the all white uniforms.

That said, it annoys me to no end reading crap like this:
A couple of weeks ago, PickSixPreviews.com surveyed 100 perspective D-1 football players. The results are exactly what I expected, but won't fit the curmudgeon crowd's narrative.

You see Alabama prominently listed in this piece as the worst uniform. If uniforms are so important, then WHY does Alabama continually have top-rated recruiting classes?

Uniforms matter. I agree. But this is overblown. The ability to get recruits to sign the line which is dotted relies on many more factors besides just uniforms.

I don't think anyone is saying uniforms are the only factor. This is just in response to the people who say uniforms don't matter AT ALL. In reality, they do matter.

Nobody is saying it's the ONLY factor. The point is that the new staff recognizes all the many little things that together, can make a big impact in recruiting.

Because Alabama has 16 national titles.

Money, tradition, coaching staff, etc. It isn't the most important issue, but it definitely impacts people's views of a school.

Maybe take this away from it...

Recruits will put up with crappy uniforms if they're playing on a championship team.

We don't have a championship team, so every little edge (real or perceived) will help.

And Jiminy Christmas - does the word "perspective" in the headline of the article bug anyone else as much as it does me?? It's PROSPECTIVE, you nitwits.

Alabama has one key asset that we don't have that gives them a leg up, a successful football program.

"Choose your adventure", maybe fashion design.

Uni's are somewhat important, Rick acknowledged as much in Casablanca.

Rick: Not an easy day to forget.
Ilsa: No.
Rick: I remember every detail. The Germans wore gray, you wore blue.

I thought you were going to say wealthy Memphis boosters that will pay thousands to steer the likes of Albert Means or Gene Jelks to campus.

Just wish we would come up with something unique. First we copy USC and now we copy LSU. Is it that hard to be original?

We had unique, but everyone hates it because it's associated with Criner or Walden.
