Yeah we should definitely switch to the Alabama model instead of trying to jumpstart the Oregon modelAlabama has one key asset that we don't have that gives them a leg up, a successful football program.

Just wish we would come up with something unique. First we copy USC and now we copy LSU. Is it that hard to be original?
I don't know why nobody has thought about just winning some National Championships before? Seems obvious.Yeah we should definitely switch to the Alabama model instead of trying to jumpstart the Oregon model
There's always those pesky kids on your lawn to complain about.Dam you Chris, writing a well-reasoned article about why uniforms do matter. Now there's another thing us curmudgeons can't complain about.

So. I love cool uniforms and I can't wait to see the all white uniforms.
That said, it annoys me to no end reading crap like this:
A couple of weeks ago, PickSixPreviews.com surveyed 100 perspective D-1 football players. The results are exactly what I expected, but won't fit the curmudgeon crowd's narrative.
You see Alabama prominently listed in this piece as the worst uniform. If uniforms are so important, then WHY does Alabama continually have top-rated recruiting classes?
Uniforms matter. I agree. But this is overblown. The ability to get recruits to sign the line which is dotted relies on many more factors besides just uniforms.

Maybe take this away from it...
Recruits will put up with crappy uniforms if they're playing on a championship team.
We don't have a championship team, so every little edge (real or perceived) will help.
And Jiminy Christmas - does the word "perspective" in the headline of the article bug anyone else as much as it does me?? It's PROSPECTIVE, you nitwits.

Think about it this way, if you're Brad Pitt, you can put on a shabby T-shirt and gym shorts and go to bar and probably have any girl you want. If you're an average to terrible looking guy, you probably need to put in a little more effort. A good personality goes a long way, but why not do anything you can do to improve your odds?
So what is the age where people start to hate things like this? I'm under 30 and I think the white helmets are awesome. Feed me more.
I'll tweet Coach Campbell with the ideaI don't know why nobody has thought about just winning some National Championships before? Seems obvious.
