This. It’s insane how many companies bump prices a month before Black Friday then lower a smidge so they can so whoa hey lookie here it’s now 30% off! When in reality it’s not at all close to that.
The ole faux reference pricing model, used by wives in spousal arguments at Target worldwide.

Go to Dutchman’s, Cantril, during their late night gladness sale coming up. Usually the first Friday in December. Good deals.

Not exactly sure.
For your sports streaming needs, Peacock just announced their Black Friday deal. $19.99 plus tax for 12 months (so $21 something). I did this same deal last year and appreciated it very much.

Promo code is REALDEAL
They always have some deal. Teachers had a special of 1.99 a month for a year.

I’ve been a Samsung and Sony tv guy. Picked up a Vizio for kids room. Holy **** their software is so much better. I think I’m gonna switch now on
I have a ~5 year old Vizio that was great when I purchased it, but every software update it's gone through has made it less user friendly, to the point that I want to chuck it. If it's really better than Samsung/Sony, that makes me sad.

The last update made my Firestick not compatible with my 13 year old Vizio.

We have an area in the basement wired for surround. It always seemed like a good place for a projector, but these TVs are so dang big now.

An 85 inch seems like it would be more than fine if I want to (finally) get that area ready for use
You think, but the jump from an 85 inch TV to a 120 or even bigger projector is still huge. The total area of that screen is still double that of the 85 inch TV.

I agree. But their commercials are excessive. When watching series, I’ll spring for the commercial free package. This one works well for sports.
Same. Honestly I do this for most of the services. If I'm really binging through something, I'll upgrade to commercial free, then drop back down.

See the PS5 is discounted down to $425 for the disc version.

Debating that or springing for the pro, though $699 for that without a disc drive seems excessive.

I'm at a point in my life where I don't think I would ever use a disc again.

I mean, the pricing on disc vs digital versions is plenty of difference in itself. The digital versions of games for the consoles rarely see the discounts the disc versions do.

Depends on what specific games you happen to be buying, new vs. new some games do have digital all time lows that are lower than physical. Convenience is worth more to me though than saving a few bucks on a game, storing discs, changing discs, or not having a game I want to play and having to go to the store rather than just buying and downloading it.

Going to surprise the kids with a Metaquest 3S....this is the best deal/bundle I've seen so far. Anyone else know anything about this product?

Hope you have an office? Mechanical keyboards should be outlawed in cubical land.
