Not over rated. Isu and ku both had significant injuries. Ok st could never put it together somehow with all their talent. Baylor still in and k st texas and ou were just really good at home IMO

Lots of youth and inexperience doesn't translate well to March Madness.

As long as the team that matters is in there, don't care.

I think the matchup weren't great and obviously Kansas is without their big. Baylor has talent but questionable coaching at times and OU hasn't been great all year, just good enough.

ISU still has a good shot at the Elite Eight and Baylor has a chance with Creighton.

At the end, I'd still rather see teams like Kansas lose even if it doesn't help the conference image. The only time I'd pull for Kansas is against Iowa.

Baylor and ISU playing best at the end of the season and both still in. KU not the same after Embiid injury. They were just hoping to make it to the round of 16 to maybe get him back.

OU laid an egg, KSU had a tough matchup that no one would want, OSU just didn't live up to expectations and Texas did about as expected.

If both ISU and Baylor out today and we have nobody in the 16.... different story.

You can't say the Big 10 is overrated in football because of their performance in bowl games and in the same breath say the Big 12 isn't overrated with their performance thus far in the tournament.

Also, the B12 teams are all very young and have gone up some senior clubs.

Anybody who paid attention this season and has half a brain would know that Kansas was so good because of Embiid. They are and were very beatable without him and today showed it. Oklahoma State suffered a bad loss of their big man Cobbens. If he didn't go down, they would have been in better position all year. NDSU beats Oklahoma at OT and it just seemed like NDSU wanted it more.

And for people who complain about the refs all the time - you can always think now about how when games are called more fairly, sometimes the teams that have been winning in conference don't always win and visa versa.

What's up with performance of the Big 12 in the tournament? I was hoping for better things. Any chance the conference was over rated.
And the Big Ten is better? Nice generic user name and 2 post history. Go back to Hawkeye Nation.

The conference had the best RPI collectively in the country, and had some decent teams. Teams were not real dominant and pretty inconsistent throughout.

No surprises here.
