How much does ISU make annually for tier 3? 6 million?
Yep, pretty much.So what you're really saying is that Texas made $51.5 million ($15 mil per year from LHN)
I thought it was ~$6 million?I want to say it was less than 2 million.

Edit:
According to this article (from Feb 2018, but I think it's accurate) the Big 10 programs earned $50.6 mil each in total revenue.
SEC Tweet from Feb:
So if you include Tier 3 revenue (estimated around $5m), ISU made more money than the SEC schools.
Most of the 3rd tier money comes from radio, not Cyclones.tvI don't think ISU made $5 million off Cyclones.TV. I don't even think they made 1/2 of that. But it's certainly closer than what I thought it would be.
What should be pointed out though is that this was the first year that Nebraska received a full-share of Big 10 revenue (at 50.6 million). I would be interested to see what their revenue would have been if they were still full-members of the conference and had a "Husker TV" network during that same timespan. Nebraskans would have eaten that up - their AD has his own radio show for crying out loud, a Husker-only TV network would have been a slam-dunk decision.
This is a related article about the next rights deals and the money streaming services will be offering. Also talks about realignment.

I'm not sure that is super-comforting.
