I don't think you'll find any Campus town bars open that early unfortunately. Lumpy's used to be about the only one open unless somebody else has taken that on.

Tip Top on Duff and Lincoln Way is the place to be for early morning pre-tailgating. You gotta get there early though because the place will be packed.

Welch Ave is open that early I think. We went there for a late season game last year when it was really cold.

Do you know what time Tip Top is open and how early we need to be there? Some friends and I have heard about people going there early on game day and have wanted to check it out.

I think it opens at 6am. 7am for sure. It is a lot of fun. If you grew up in small town Iowa bars, you will love this place. Tip-top you don't stop

Tip Top is boss! Sweet early morning bar for the Cyclone faithful- I would be in the parking lot by at least 5 if you want to get in.

Tip Top officially opens at 6 am, but you can usually get in before that. And i've never been in there where you have to get there at certain time just to get in. People move in and out pretty fast IMO.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you will have $49.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you will have $33.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you will have $000 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum BEER cans for recycling refund, you will have received a $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg. DRINK BEER.

A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon!
Makes you proud to be an American!
