2. Swinney
3. Kelly
4. Riley
5. Day
6. Smart
7. Fisher
8. Orgeron
9. Mullen...

10. Matt Campbell, Iowa State (2020 — No. 25): It’s been apparent for the past four years that Campbell was building something special in Ames, and it paid off in 2020 with the Cyclones’ first Big 12 championship appearance, a Fiesta Bowl victory over Oregon and the highest final ranking (No. 9) in school history. With practically its entire starting lineup returning, Iowa State has never been in stronger shape as a program than it is right now.

Some/most of these coaches are at powerful programs that could be successful regardless of who's leading the staff.

Alabama
Clemson
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Ohio State
Georgia
Texas A&M
LSU
Florida
...
Iowa State

One of those programs is not like the others...

Campbell is ELITE.

you mean ND... since they are a private school ?

#8...hmmm...I know he has a title...so does Chizik! I would not be surprised if Ed O is unemployed at the end of next season!
There are a lot of “experts” predicting LSU to be right back in the hunt this season.

Would you be able to provide a brief synopsis?

actually is was just about the schedule being a little different/longer.

more weight time and drills.

There's gotta be some calculation or ratio of coaching talent : program resources...we'll call it the Snyder theorem.

Campbell is #1 and it's not close.

Had an interesting discussion recently comparing Bob Stoops and Kirk Ferentz in this way. Consensus was that Ferentz was better, although I wouldn't object to believing the opposite.
