I think you are the only one. Even if people don't care who plays they watch for the commercials or because IT'S THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!

No, I don't either. We're having a party, but that's just an excuse for absurd quantities of snack food and hanging out with people. I will probably watch less than 10% of the game/commercials.

Yes, you're the only one. Even women watch it for the ads!

I am definitely an NFL fan, I love football and think the NFL puts on a good show. However, I'm not truly passionate about any teams (even the Seahawks) so I always just enjoy good games. Plus, the Super Bowl is the last real game of the season, and AFL can only get me so far until next season.

I think that I've recovered from my broken collarbone to where I can go skiing. So I should be on the slopes at Steamboat.

The AFL isn't going to get you anywhere next season, as it has been cancelled for the year.

Were it not pretty much a job requirement, I wouldn't necessarily watch it. As it is, the last three Superbowls, I have recorded it on my DVR and pretty much watched each play, zipped to the next play, zipped through the commercials, and watched the game in about an hour.

I really can't remember much about the Superbowls, because it's mostly been an excuse to get together and enjoy a party for much of my adult life. I remember the Superbowls from 1980's way more than the 1990's and beyond.

I only watch it if I have a rooting interest. I don't watch it just because "its the supa bowl, omg guize I have to watch lolzz."

I watch it mostly because I like getting together with people. I was kinda hoping to watch it at my buddy's house that has a 50 inch so we could put it on that, then he could roll the other 40 inch into the room so we can play Call of Duty or something on that as the game goes on. The game is just too long and I am not even remotely interesting in a lip-synched halftime show.

I just wish the superbowl were an actual game and not so much hype with a long halftime and etc.

I seldom watch it. It's usually a pretty crappy game, and it's so anti-climatic. I HATE all the hoopla that goes along with it. The halftime show makes me want to stab myself in the eye.

I honestly forgot until this thread that it was today. I'd rather watch reruns fo "Good Eats" than the superbowl most years.
