I feel more comfort in him staying committed after seeing him trying to talk another stud into coming. For some reason, I just don't see someone doing that if they're not fully committed to the school.

This is BIG! Lazard just might be the best receiver in the entire country and he's coming to ISU. Thank you football gods!!

I know I'm late to this awesome party but just check the avatar. I saw a Blythe comparison. This could should be much better all around. It's not an exaggeration to to think he could be the #1 receiver in the country. I doubt he will be, but he will be close. Hembolt is saying he's the best he's seen in the 2014 class. He's really damn good. My guess is that he will be the best recruit we have ever signed according to the recruiting sites. That includes Webster Patrick. This is huge. I don't question the commitment either because he has ties here and it's not like he's been a secret. Adrian Arrington comes to mind here. I think he's much better than Darboh (thought Darboh was a low 4 star guy, never thought he was elite). This is just so huge. One more thing: It only took clonedude two pages to wonder if he would stick.

Do you think that if VandeVelde was still our AD,he would make CPR tell Lazard that we need some more time to determine if we have a spot available for him....we should really evaluate our options before making a decision this early on a 2014 kid, right?

Bigger. Love Georges but he's not the first top 100 kid we've got.

This would be like Fred Hoiberg landing Nerlens Noel

It does make one wonder what happens if OU or UT shows up knocking at the door.
Tell them "better luck next week"?

Some you guys are acting like he is a hidden gem that may blow up. He is already a widely known stud, you do no think he already gotten their attention?

Anyone else notice one of Urbandale's DL stay with the Valley RB? not a Big 12 RB, but still impressive. I think his last name is Wells? From the roster he is 5-11 280, so not the length you look for, but he looks athletic.

If Pierschbacher does not go to iSU, it will not be because he is going to Iowa.
Althawk, quit embarrassing hawk fans. Recruiting is binary- either they sign a LOI or they do not. It is telling of the fear and jealously of the hawk fanbase when they yearn for our approval that Iowa will be a higher runner up for Pierschbacher. "But he liked us more than Iowa"- said no one when HB committed to UNC.

Lol if you actually think Iowa has no shot at Ross P. Iowa has signed kids with offers from Alabama/Oklahoma/Notre Dame/etc, and they will do it again.

Alt... Arguing now about likelihood of where recruits will eventually land is kind of like the "my dad can beat up your dad" discussion.....kind of pointless.

While you're always welcome here, your blind love & defense of iowa may be better received on an "alternative" message board.

Maybe you could just let us be completely pumped and think irrationally about he possible impacts of Lazard's commitment without acting like a doosh. h

Damn, are things that bad in hawk land? It is a sad state of affairs in Iowa City when a hawk fan is on CF at 2:00 am to plead for acceptance of Iowa's "no shot" being more or less than ISU's "no shot" at a recruit.

Either ISU lands him or they don't, and until then Iowa is not the team to worry about.

This is already one of the better breaks between the end of regular season football and bowl football...hopefully it only improves!

The amount of excitement I have for the future of Cyclone football is getting bigger...the future of this offense is looking better and better which only gives me more hope, imagine a defense like we've had with an offense that can compete and even out-do the high powered offenses of the B12. :jiggy:

EDIT: and remember dear CF'ers we should be surprised by the appearance of HawkTroll's...they have nothing better to do till next august!

Ok, going on 20 pages and haven't seen it but what are the chances he could early-enroll.

Being here the first spring session could be huge for a big talent.
