Maybe this has been done before, but I'm bored.

Please post your lineup of the best ISU players from all era's (that you can remember). Since I very vaguely remember players like Grayer and Rhodes, but don't recall their style of play, I won't include them in my team. Feel free to do so in yours... although that may date you.

So beginning in the early/ mid nineties my team goes as follows:

Coach: Heeeere's Johnny!!!

C: Kelvin Cato
PF: Marcus Fizer
SG: Fred Hoiberg
SG: Dedric Willoughby
PG: Jamal Tinsley

Bench:
Jackson Vroman
Will Blaylock
Justus Thigpen
Jared Homan
Curtis Stinson

1. Tinsley
2. Willoughby
3. Hoiberg
4. Grayer
5. Fizer

Love Cato, and he is the best true center, but I'd go with a more 4 out look as that is how college basketball is evolving and gives you the best chance to win.

There's a couple Jeff's I'd have on this team, and I'd also ad Victor Alexander.

I think Iowa State's top ten would be a fun match up against any other schools top ten. A KU friend of mine are always doing this and I think we'd beat the top tens he throws out there.

So this really isn't an "all time" list, but more of an "all last fifteen years" team.

Grayer, Hornacek, Don Smith, and a fella named Gary Thompson would need inclusion in any conversation discussing an "all time" Cyclone team.

Homan and Vroman were solid players, but not "all time" caliber

QFT. Most around here only have known ISU atheletics for a short and recent time period.

Smith, Hoiberg, Thompson, Hornacek and Aziz are my pics.

Well yes. I was hoping to rely on the more "seasoned" persons on this board to provide the meat. The players I listed are the ones I can remember watching play.

Then you need to read about the players past.

I have. That's not the point. The players I listed- are the players I have watched. In person. That makes it MY LIST. YOUR LIST can include whomever you have watched. That will make it YOUR LIST.

Well you said to post the all-time starting 5. So YOUR list isn't if you only included the last 15 years only.
