Have an assistant show some emotion then. The two most vocal leaders fouled out. We had no one to replace them with.

I absolutely agree! Coach Hoiberg has shown emotion in the past... Not extremely intense, but he has. The chest tapping incident was with Chris Allen. I got to be honest with you. The players looked fatigued and confused as hell!! And it honestly goes down as Coach Hoiberg's absolute WORST coaching to date this game!!! Seriously, he just looked like he didn't care along with the players..

He also avoids outbursts due to his heart condition. I think with that concern, he just came into the gig having decided that's the attitude he's going to carry for both his health and other reasons.

Do you guys know for sure regarding his heart issue as to why he stays so calm or is it just speculation? To his defense I'm not sure it would made any difference anyway. These guys just didn't play well enough to win. We made them look real good that's for sure. On a side note did anybody see Palo on the bench suited up?

If Fred can't light a fire under his team because of a heart condition, then maybe he isn't in the right profession?

And at the VERY least he needs to send messages with playing time then, if he's not going to get in their faces.

Watching tonight's game I found myself wondering what in the world KL and Clyburn have to do to get yanked? Obviously there isn't anything? If I'm Naz Long, I'm thinking about transferring at this point. KL can go out there and stink it up ALL night long and cost us possession after possession, but yet I don't even get in the game for a stinkin' minute? I'm sorry, I just don't get it.

If you have guys that are playing stupid and aren't listening to you, then you MUST yank them... period. Right now KL must be thinking that he can do whatever he pleases everytime down the court because Fred won't sit him.

Last year Fred had some fire, remember when he shoved Chris Allen? What is different this year?

Its hard to disagree with some of this stuff. Im a Cyclone fan, but I'm a realist as well.

Already discussed that isn't why he doesn't show a lot of emotion. Let Fred do his thing. He proved last year he's pretty good at it.

Just to let you know, Lucious singlehandedly kept us in the game with two huge threes

You know Fred is boiling underneath though....If Fred didn't have a heart condition I think he'd be exactly like Floyd and LE.

I don't think his style and demeanor have much to do with his heart condition. Even with a healthy heart he would not be like Larry or even Floyd.

He was being selfish and tried to make too many one on one plays instead of moving the ball around.
It was a group effort to lose tonight. No one could make a shot, not even the waterboy. How will we ever do in close games?

This is the type of game you have to generate some energy. Put the damn press on, or throw some kind of trapping, zone defense at them.

Does anyone think that Fred should show a little emotion? I know this has been touched on here and there but I can hardly stand to watch him acting like we're up by 20. Some will say it's not his style but it sure frustrates the heck out of me. Oh well. Go. clones

You want Fred to die from blood clot? DIAF KMA STFU and EABOD OP.

When people asked how White would've fit in this this team, this game should be example 1. We shot like **** and had no one to go to when we needed a basket. At least a game like this we could've give the back to White and let him pound away at the interior of the defense. If nothing else he would've gotten people in foul trouble.

You don't have to be a fiery *** hole to be a good coach. Ever see Brad Stevens got too excited or too angry? He's only been to the title game a couple times. Teams react to things differently. Some of them will take it as a challenge, others you crush their already fragile confidence. When your team is struggling to find an identity isn't the time to rip into them.

And benching Lucious and Clyburn is a great idea and all until you look at who has to replace them and realize we're better taking the bad with the good rather than just plain bad.
