Can we stop doing weather threads like a week out? Maybe start them closer to the actual day....

Just my two cents. I'm sure I'll get ripped by all the weather gurus here. But c'est la vie.

If I just wanted to know the forecast a day or two before the event, I could go to a weather site then. I like getting a behind the curtain look at the modeling and forecasting that goes on leading up to a storm. These threads are fun.

We are in Iowa. Without our changing weather and our Cyclones, we really don't have much else to talk about.
What website can I find those models on?

Lets be honest, among our fanbase if you cant stand hype followed by disappointing results, you probably wont last long.

Hope this "next one" misses us. After this last one I'm officially tired of winter. Time for it to warm-up. I know it was a bit of a fluke but wasn't it in the 70's at times last February or March?

Appreciate the sentiment man!

My prediction is we will get a dusting, maybe an inch or two.... Happy now?

I think the "dumb" comment was over the fact that you used pheasant instead of what I'm assuming you meant, peasant.

We all know pheasant's don't live in Iowa any more! :jimlad:

I believe the last two mild winters have spoiled Iowa, and now we tend to freak out when winter weather hits. Quite reactionary we have become, when usual conditions hit us.

Not even close to what Northeast Ohio gets every winter but I am ok with that. I got away from that snow ****. You guys would die if you got as much snow as we did. You guys call 15inches Snowmageddon for some reason

Yeah I love these threads also but that is because I do not have to deal with any of the snow!

What snow? The last one missed Omaha.
