Rondale Moore signed. I'm under no illusions that he's going to come in and be an upper echelon receiver, but that's not what they're going to ask him to do. He'll be a nice 3rd or 4th WR. Can be an asset in the return game and brings a ton of speed. It'd be nice if someone other than JJ and JA would step up at that position. Rondale has the tools of he can stay healthy and put it all together

His speed in the slot could be incredible to pair with Jets and Addison.

Ben Goessling hinted on PA's show yesterday that the Vikings are going to trade with a team for a veteran back up...wouldn't give any more details because he didn't want a social media blow up, but said you could look at which NFL teams have vet back ups and connect the dots.

I'm guessing he was referring to Cousins. Kirko may have realized that he's relegated to being a back up at this point in his career...and he'd rather do it with KOC than in Atlanta.

Looks like if Kirko is traded then his base salary with the new team would be $27.5M, but the trade partner could force Atlanta to eat some of that as part of the deal.
Purple Daily was talking about why Minnesota hadn't signed a backup QB yet, and explained that it's likely an effort to work the compensatory pick system. As of now, they stand to get both a 3rd and 4th round pick in the 2026 draft, due to the loss of Darnold and Robinson. It they sign a QB now to maybe a $10 million deal, that cancels out the Robinson deal, meaning they wouldn't get the 4th round pick. If they wait to sign someone until after the draft, it doesn't count in the formula, though.
But of course, they're not going to come out and say "We're going to wait to sign Jameis Winston" so they keep mum, and that silence is what fueled some of the Rodgers talk.

Goessling basically said the same thing...although didn't mention the compensatory pick angle. Said there's no hurry to sign a QB because there are no team activities until late April and really nothing important until after the draft.

They also get a compensatory pick for Daniel Jones since they activated him for a game last year, so that's pretty sweet.

If JJ McCarthy hits, Kwesi will get a stay of execution from the Wilfs

With Flacco going to the Browns, who’s left for the VikIngs to sign as a backup QB? Is Tannehill still out there?

Seems like the Viking talking heads have the Vikings first round mock draft picks (in order):
1) G. Zabel G
2) K. Banks G
3) N. Emmanwori S
4) D. Jackson G

I’d be shocked if the Vikes had any interest in Sanders.
I‘d love it if Zabel fell to 24, but if he’s gone there are quality G, DT, and S guys available.

How would you feel about trading Jordon Addison for Breece Hall, trading down a bit and drafting Jaylin Noel?

Might not be good for the Vikings, but man, I'd be through the roof excited.
