Was listening to to KFAN from MSP just now. New QB name. Actually an old name. They think Atlanta won’t pay Kurt Cousins a $10M roster fee close to the 1st of April. So he gets cut. And Kurt Cousins comes back to the Vikings. Is that better then AR ?
Still not good and too expensive but better than AR imo.

If Rodgers is willing to play on a vet minimum I don’t see the risk in signing him for one year. JJ McCarthy had to have a second surgery in November on his knee and has 1 preseason game of reps in the NFL. I don’t think it would be the worst thing in the world for him to sit and get actual practice reps for a year.

No. Cousins seems like a nice guy but good lord that’s not who I want teaching McCarthy.

With all the good things the Vikings did this off season, It would be disappointing if they lost that momentum by signing AR.

He was pretty well washed up when he left the Pack and his tenure with the Jets wasn't. Oh well I'm no FB genius.

Not bad. Had pretty good production last year. Good size. Still pretty young. Feels like a nice counterpunch to Aaron Jones. Contract is cheap. If he comes in and wins the job, so much the better. I think it tips a bit of their hand on the draft, or at least their first pick anyway. Not likely to be going with one of the running backs.

Hopefully they go with a defensive tackle or corner.
Nick Emmanwori is an intriguing prospect at Safety. Over 6'3, 220lbs, runs a sub 4.4. I'd love to see how Flores could use someone like him.

I wouldn't go DT. They've got players that can cover it this year and with 4 draft picks trying to win, you gotta go with something else.

Safety is most likely.
Maybe theat G from North Dakota.

I would go with a Cyclone.
Porter would be great as a backup CB and special teams wizard.
Noel or Higgins as a WR3 would be awesome too. They won't be able to pay Addison after next year so maybe they end up trading him.

We are still long way out but my guess is the Vikes take either of the top safeties Emmanwori or Starks in round one.
